“Dogwoods” Demo Single Lesson

This a pretty easy fun painterly painting to paint

The next in my list of single lessons I am releasing is the “Dogwoods” demonstration. This is another one that everyone usually does a nice job. This is a great one to try if you are wanting to learn how to get more drama into your paintings. It is a fun easy flower(blossoms) painting.

Okay here’s a short tip Creating a dramatic painting:

Tip: When you want to add more interest to a painting and make it look brighter and more Dramatic try to make all of the unimportant elements pretty much in the same color family and similar values then everything that you are trying to Showcase will stand out even more. I like to think of it as if you gave your significant other two dozen red roses with one or two white roses in the center it would really showcase those white roses because the contrast of values as well as the contrast of color and color families.
